The challenge:
The 3 Peaks is a hard slog from start to finish taking in the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. Ben Nevis (Scotland) 1344m, Scafell Pike (England) 978m and Snowdon (Wales) 1085m that’s a total of 3407m plus driving between each all in 24 hours.

A bit about me:
When I was at school I always wanted to do the three peaks challenge because they ran it every year but I had to wait till I got to year 9 before I was allowed to do it, then when I got to year 9 my school decided to stop running the event which I found very frustrating. Then when the opportunity came up for me to take part in this challenge I jumped at the chance not only will I get the opportunity to do the challenge I have wanted to do since school, we also get to raise money for an amazing cause.
For my day to day job I work in a steel factory running a plasma cutter is a physical job but enjoyable then I follow the day up with a good gym session.

Charity events:
This is by far the biggest event I have done to raise money for charity each year I do a local event in Salisbury called the figsbury challenge it is a 5k multi terrain run to raise money for Salisbury hospice I run it every year as it is close to my heart because Salisbury hospice is where my grandma was looked after there up until she passed away from cancer. So the charity that we are doing this for macmillan cancer support is another charity that I can relate to.

In memory of:
I am doing this event in memory of my grandma who passed away from cancer in 2007. She was an amazing person who meant the whole world to me and my family.
